My first submission to deviantArt. The guy sitting in the tree is Lucifer, a character I invented to be the main character in a webcomic that I was going to start making about a year ago... I haven't started yet. Soon my mind is going to burst with all the ideas I've crammed in there about the world in which the comic is going to take place. Lucifer here is a half-elven warrior. I think he's dropped his sword in this particular picture, though He's partially possessed by a demon, who gives him nightmares worse than you could ever imagine, so Lucifer usually spends his nights drinking coffee, as shown in the picture. Why I wrote "jöy" on the mug I can't figure out... It was the middle of the night when I did it. It was sketched with a pencil, then inked. It was originally supposed to be daytime, but the clouds looked horrible, so I made it night. Big mistake. Lucifer looked alot better in light.
About the name of the guy... It's not very original. "Lucifer" is pretty much always associated with the Devil, right? Well, it just so happens that this Lucifer's brother is very knowledgeable when it comes to demons and infernal entities. Lucifer's brother is also a fanatical pure-blooded elf, who looks upon humans as cattle and half-elves as abominations. And he's insane. Completely and utterly psychopathic. When he heard that his mother had been seduced by a human after her husband had died, and that a half-elf had been born because of it, he went on a killing spree. He decided to let the kid live, though, and gave him the name Lucifer, the same name as the legendary first demon had had. He was then apprehended, and cast out of Elven society. He was given the Curse of the Fallen, causing his skin to darken to near black (elves normally have bluish skin) to mark him as a so-called Dark Elf.
And that's more than enough about the comic. Expect to see lots of pictures with Lucifer in them, looking either really emo or really angry.
